I've been using LocationTagger since it was released and at least with
the N82 it's basically great. All the usual caveats apply.

Too late. I'm as bummed as usual, but mildly hopeful these days.
Here's a recent announcement from Nokia of a cool little photo geocoding
app for s60 compatible phones:

And I think that by this time next year, at last, a lot of phones
will automatically geocode pictures.... most likely all iPhones,
Android, and Symbian phones - at a a minimum.
