Multimap offer a geocoding web service that you can read about here: http://www.multimap.com/apidocs/1.2/web_service/ws_geocoding.htm
I'm not sure of coverage exactly but I'm pretty sure we can do US, Western Europe and probably a few other places (Oz and China come to mind). I'm not sure of US pricing but it's definitely going to be higher than Rich's offer below. You may be able to use our Open API though: http://www.multimap.com/openapi/ http://www.multimap.com/openapi/signup/ I'm not entirely sure if the coverage differs between the pay-for API and the open version.
