Let me cc the folks running this one and see if that link can be fixed so
that it does the right thing.

I'd definitely like to do my part to encourage folks in the area to come on
up - I can personally offer a place to stay if needed for some number of
people < 10.

Note there is a lot of interest and Portland events tend to attract large
crowds from even the local area.  The IgnitePortland event for example
attracts several hundred geeks.  Pecha Kucha is similar as well - more
artist focused - but a similar level of passion.  In fact the entire city
seems to be strangely energized.... people are actively going out of their
way to work together socially and seem to have a bit more free time to work
on collaborative software and art projects ( probably something to do with
the cost of living? ).
