The Department of Political Science at Tufts University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant
professor position in the field of international relations. We are particularly interested in candidates with a demonstrated focus on one or more of the following regions: East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, North Africa or sub-Saharan Africa. The promise of excellence in scholarship and teaching is required, as is broad training in international relations theory. Teaching duties are two courses per semester and will include an introductory course in international relations. A Ph.D. in political science by 1 September 2012 is required.
