Hi folks: I'm re-doing my Environmental Policy seminar syllabus for the spring, and want to have an initial week on different types of reasons for protecting the environment/addressing environmental problems. My hope is to have a different reading for each of a variety of (different types of) reasons we could care about the environment.
Things like: -nature's value in its own terms -the advantages to people generally in having a protected env (ecosystem services) -the value to us in caring for nature -issues of environmental justice -any other types of reasons? (looking for suggestions) If you have an article or chapter to suggest (including your own), please pass them on!
