I would like to spread the word about a study abroad program for undergraduate students interested in studying food systems (IHP: Rethinking Food Security). The program takes a comparative approach to the study of food production and distribution with students spending a month in each of our focus countries: Ecuador, Malawi and Italy. The Spring semester application deadline is listed as Nov 1, however late applications will likely be considered. Applications for next Fall will begin Dec. 15. We are looking to boost enrollment for this young program, so spreading the word to students who might be interested is greatly appreciated. I am the faculty member currently traveling with the student group, and would be happy to answer any questions you or your students might have.
