It is a collaborative project with leading global governance researchers from China, Europe and the US. The project aims to identify the major roadblocks for effective and coherent global governance, by multiple stakeholders, and in a multi-polar world. It will provide policy-makers, academics and the general public with an analytical grip on the state of play in global governance by developing new theoretical and methodological approaches. It also hopes to equip national and European policy-makers with tools to identify constraints and possibilities in several global governance scenarios in 2030 and 2050. More information on the GLOBE project is available here: https://www.globe-project.eu/en<http://www.globe-project.eu/en> Specifically, the project will focus on the role of the private sector in responding to the environmental imperative, informed by growing evidence of the negative economic effects of climate change on industry operations and returns for investors. The Research Fellow will work collaboratively with the PI and Co-I on the workpackage 'Politics of Environmental Governance' which the UCL team is leading on, duties of the post include, assisting with design of survey instruments and preparation of survey processes, assisting with data analysis and assisting with data management.
