Dear colleagues,

as always, with apologies for x-posting. The University of Münster in Germany
is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to fill the position of Innovation Hub
Manager (100%, fixed-term [31 October 2027], focus area: socio-ecological
sustainability) within the European University Alliance “Ulysseus”, an alliance
of eight universities funded under the Commission’s 2023 Erasmus+ call. Maybe
of interest. Unfortunately, the job advertisement is only available in German
(https://www.uni-muenster.de/Rektorat/Stellen/ausschreibungen/st_20230809_sk3.html),
 but here’s a rough summary:

Tasks:
- Implementation of the Innovation Hub’s (IH) scientific strategy
“Socio-Ecological Sustainability”
- Management and administration of the IH
- Coordination with the IHs of partner universities
- Identification and realization of third-party funding opportunities
- Collaboration in establishing joint study programs within the same
network of partner universities.

Expectations:

- Excellent degree in social sciences, humanities, or natural sciences
subject (university degree: diploma and/or master)
- A doctorate (at least magna cum laude) in the field of sustainability
- Knowledge and experience regarding key sustainability challenges from a
systemic perspective (e.g., proven through doctoral studies or project
experience)
- Very good written and oral English language proficiency are required.
- Experience with academic self-administration, work within European
projects, and/or third-party funding are desirable.
- Willingness to travel abroad for several days, including longer
journeys by train (up to 12 hours instead of flights).
- Intercultural skills, openness to other work cultures, being receptive
to justice- and gender-related issues.

Applications in a single PDF should be directed to Franziska Werner
(franziska.wer...@uni-muenster.de) by 06 October 2023. I am also happy to
answer more specific questions.

Best,
Tobias
