CAUTION: EXTERNAL SENDER

Our Carbon Finance
Bootcamp<https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.soilcarbonsolutionscenter.com/carbonfinance&source=gmail-imap&ust=1743698578000000&usg=AOvVaw0neMiKtj6rFg570UFcfs0k>
is back for 2025 and open for registration! We’ll be in-person in Denver, May
12-15.

For the second year in a row my team at CSU’s Soil Carbon Solutions Center is
hosting the Carbon Finance
Bootcamp<https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.soilcarbonsolutionscenter.com/carbonfinance&source=gmail-imap&ust=1743698578000000&usg=AOvVaw0neMiKtj6rFg570UFcfs0k>,
a 3-day engaged learning event at CSU Spur - Colorado State's Denver campus,
with an optional 4th day workshop on community engagement around carbon
development. The bootcamp is designed to train a new generation of climate and
sustainability leaders on the carbon / finance / technology nexus. Rooted in
critical social science literature-- we'll provide an overview of carbon
markets, climate and carbon finance mechanisms, and industry terminology.
Participants include investors, philanthropists, industry professionals,
government officials, consultants, journalists, land managers and others
interested in gaining of-the-moment knowledge on the complex landscape of
carbon finance and management.

Registration is open now until April 16.

I designed this bootcamp to introduce the complex world of carbon finance to
sustainability professionals seeking deeper understanding on how carbon is
financialized and mobilized for climate solutions. I want to see more people
getting involved in the carbon space with critical knowledge of the field. The
bootcamp is sponsored by the National Science Foundation's CO-WY Climate
Adaptation Engine and CSU’s Office of Engagement and Extension.

Check it out, and if you are interested in learning more, I'm happy to answer
questions.

And please share with your networks. Last year we sold out and welcomed an
incredible cohort of smart, dynamic folks from all over the country. This year
is already shaping up similarly.
