Dear GEP-ED crew, I have some great books on waste & recycling that I would love to get reviewed in Global Environmental Politics this year. Ideally, I would like to commission a review essay, since 3 of the books deal with waste and recycling in the Global South (covering different countries), but I would also be happy with a single book review on one in particular, which focuses on India.
To that end, is there anyone who has done work on waste/recycling (or knows of someone doing that kind of work) who would be interested in writing a review, or review essay? And please note: GEP has successfully worked with, and published reviews and review essays from scholars at all levels – from ABD to well-known scholars, and from all over the globe, including with some for whom English is not their native language. The only thing I would need for a review is that the reviewer: 1. Is familiar enough with the field that they can give insight and commentary 2. Can commit to a reasonably predictable time schedule Thanks, and looking forward to hearing from you. -KFG Kemi Fuentes-George, Associate Professor in Political Science, Middlebury College Global Environmental Politics, Book Review Editor<https://direct.mit.edu/glep> Environmental Studies Section - International Studies Association (ESS-ISA) Section Chair<http://environmental-studies.org/?page_id=5> Recent Publications: “Music Gonna Teach: Decolonising IR through a musical exploration of knowledge<https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/review-of-international-studies/article/music-gonna-teach-decolonising-ir-through-a-musical-exploration-of-knowledge/63D04066FE59014792A159D5BD0C8850>.” Review of International Studies, 2024: 1-18 “The Legacy of Colonialism on Contemporary Environmental Governance,”<https://muse.jhu.edu/pub/1/article/897706> Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, 24 (1): 91-98 (Spring 2023) "The Comparative Politics of Environmental Justice<https://www.oxfordhandbooks.com/view/10.1093/oxfordhb/9780197515037.001.0001/oxfordhb-9780197515037-e-13>," Oxford University Handbook of Comparative Environmental Politics (2021, Oxford University Press) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gep-ed" group.
