Hi Gepers, Re-volv<https://re-volv.org/> is an organization that finances and installs solar on the roofs of nonprofits. It aims to accelerate the clean energy movement. Each semester, it offers the “Solar Ambassador<https://re-volv.org/volunteer/>” program to colleges and universities in which students dive deep into the world of solar energy, gain professional experience, and make a positive impact in their community through solar. The program is free. Solar Ambassadors<https://re-volv.org/volunteer/> work in teams to raise awareness of solar on campus and undertake a project of installing solar on the roof of a neighborhood nonprofit.
Quite a few Geper professors have sponsored teams at their university. (I did!) Some did so in conjunction with a class. The Solar Ambassador<https://re-volv.org/volunteer/> program offers a great way for students to learn about and advance solar energy at a time when renewable energy has become the target of the US Administration. It is a program of hope. Re-volv<https://re-volv.org/> sponsors the program to educate, excite, and train students for careers in the clean energy movement. Please consider sponsoring a team at your school or passing this information onto potentially interested students. You can learn more about the Solar Ambassador<https://re-volv.org/volunteer/> program at: https://re-volv.org/volunteer/ and at: https://re-volv.org/ambassador-testimonials/ I’m happy to answer questions answer questions.
