Organisation: United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Description: An intern with a background in climate change and the Kyoto Protocol, focusing on project-based mechanisms (Clean Development Mechanism/Joint Implementation) and emissions trading, is urgently needed to work with the UNIDO/MEA/Kyoto Protocol team on the development and implementation of technical assistance and global forum projects in this area. This is an opportunity for a graduate student looking for hands-on internship experience in climate change/Kyoto Protocol issues and the experience of working in an international organization. Excellent drafting skills in English are essential. The duration of the internship is at least three months, starting from July 2005.
