Salary:  £38,212 to £44,264 pa inc


We are a grade 5 Department that enjoys very strong international student 
demand across a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programmes

You will have a proven record of high-quality research and publications in the 
social science aspects of either environment and development or environmental 
policy and/or politics.

You must be capable of pursuing an internationally-recognized research agenda 
and be able to teach and research at the highest level within LSE's 
multi-disciplinary social science environment.

These posts are expected to commence from 1 September 2008 or as soon as 
possible thereafter.

3 LSE FELLOWS  IN GEOGRAPHY & ENVIRONMENT


 

Salary at any point on the scale £30,201 to ££36,563 pa incl., commensurate 
with experience.

 

Applications are invited from candidates (preferably with a PhD - or close to 
completing it) for any of the following positions:

 

3 LSE Fellow positions in the following areas of expertise:

*       Social science aspects of environment (one post tenable for one year 
from 1 September 2008).  Reference TF/07/16 (post 1)
*       Urban geography and development (one post tenable for one year from 1 
September 2008). Reference TF/07/17 (post 2)
*       Spatial/urban economics (one post tenable from 1 September 2008 until 
31 March 2011). Reference TF/07/18 (post 3)

You will contribute to administrative duties and teaching in the Department at 
undergraduate and postgraduate level

 

For all positions, experience of university-level teaching would be an 
advantage.
