Thanks, Heike ECI Senior Research Fellow in Societal and Cultural Contexts in Environmental Change Salary: £36,532 to £43,622pa The Environmental Change Institute (ECI) is looking for a high calibre candidate to work at the forefront of emerging research. This exciting opportunity will take forward ECI’s research vision and strategy in the area of societal and cultural contexts in environmental change. The Fellow will address how people at an individual, household and community level understand and engage with issues of environmental change, including the role of key intermediaries such as the media. Issues of trust, beliefs, ethics and equity will be explored, and also how public interest and awareness can transform into action. You will work with ECI senior staff on the development and implementation of innovative, cross-cutting and interdisciplinary research and teaching. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (or exceptionally a MSc and appropriate work experience) and extensive postdoctoral research experience. The post is fixed term up to three years based at the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QY, UK.
