Dear Colleagues,

Dr. Olena Borysova of the Kharkiv National Academy of Municipal Economy in
Ukraine is a visiting Fulbright Scholar at the Kennan Institute of the
Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and is conducting research
on "Reforms in the University Environmental Education in Ukraine: Learning
from U.S. Experience in Search for Sustainability." As part of her
fellowship at the Wilson Center, she has funding to travel to universities
in the US and would be interested in talking with colleagues working on
sustainability of higher education. She would also be able to give a lecture
on the following topics:

1. Environmental problems in former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe
2. Environmental Impacts Assessment and Strategic Environmental
Assessment: development trends in Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union
countries
3. University environmental education: challenges for the higher
education system under transformation (post-Soviet countries, Russia and
Ukraine in particular)

If you are interested in her visiting your campus (at no expense to you),
please contact Olena at [email protected] or 202-691-4082. She
is available until early December.

Kind regards,

Maria
