First things first. CERRA, CALM DOWN!!! 2 litters ago was my first litter, and I was as excited as you (maybe even more). Just let the parents do their work. They are good at it. Believe me!!! LOL! Try to keep your room a tad bit quieter when the NEWBORN pups are around just so the parents don't get too distracted. When the male is trying to mount the female that means that the babies WERE born, and he just wants to make her pregnent again. When you clean the cage (don't do it for about 1 week), you should put the babies in a container with lots of warm stuff. Keep them away from their parents. Keep the babies real close to you. Then, when you are done cleaning the cage, put the babies back in before the parents, so the parents think nothing was ruined.
