Hi!
Now finally I bothered to look up millet in my dictionary. Oh dear! It's
my gerbils' beloved "Kolbenhirse"!
Is that millet, or millet spray? The two are different. One is the seed
of a grass (Panicum miliaceum), and is a staple grain in tropical parts
of the world, especially Africa. The other is dried twigs of bristle
grass (genus Setaria) with round seeds attached. Gerbils love both, but
the Bristle Grass may be potentially dangerous in large doses.
