Hai guys and gals~
Today I received a beautiful LCA (thanks to Evon (:), and an interesting
thing happened proir to the delivery. My sister said that the post office
called her early this morning, made sure it was the correct phone number they
dialed, then said, "Hey could you help us out? We have a bet going down here
as to what's inside the box." It turns out none of them guessed correctly,
most thought it was frogs or worms.. and when they found out it was a gerbil,
they all started laughing histerically and asked my sister, "Why the heck
would you send a gerbil in the mail?!" lol. It's kind of disappointing to
see how very few people really know much about gerbils, but I can't have
everything, now can I? (:
I named her Celeste, and as I told Evon, I introduced her to my champagne
Orion today. Orion's bad tempered when it comes to cagemates, but I'm
crossing my fingers that this one will work out. I've get the split-cage
method going, but is there any helpful tips any of you more *educated* people
would like to add? I haven't done introducing in a while, so i have to learn
it all over again. lol ^.^;;
Oh, and latest on my pups- the litter of eight is now back down to seven,
unfortunately. ): One of the pups died a few days ago, he was very very
tiny, and born some-what late. It turns out that there are 1 agouti, 1
agouti spot, 2 black, 2 argente cream spot, and one lilac. All healthy and
of course, as cute as anything. Now let's just hope I can get Orion to
accept Celeste ):
