Strangely marked blacks

I have 2 young black gerbils which are Gg and Ee.  They are spotted, with
only a small spot on their nape and nose.  However, all throughout their
fur, there are white scattered hairs, just like the heavily pied blacks.  I
thought this strange, and have never had spotted blacks marked like this.
 Has anyone else seen this?
