Hai everyone!
Sorry I haven't been writing much to the list.. I've had a somewhat
hectic last couple of weeks. Anywho.. just wanted to let you all know that
Kay and Ninja had their second litter early this morning, five little pink
squeakers. Well let me tell you-! Those other siblings are not thrilled at
the fact that they have to spend nap time with daddy instead of mommy who's
now busy with the babies! ^.~ Oh well.. guess they'll have to get over it..
hehehe. Here is a list of gerbils I have available, tho I'm not quite sure
whether or not I can ship. I figure I'll see if anyone's interested in a
gerbil before wreaking havoc at the post office. ^.~
>From Juanita's litter of 8, born 1/4/00 (*note*- sadly there are only five
survivers left.. my guess is that the litter was too big for her, usually
five is her limit. Eight was just too much, and right off the bat, one died.
Then one day i found the whole litter left outside of the nesting box, some
wedged under the bottom, barely alive. Still, there was seven survivers, but
they had been left out in the cold for over 24 hours, and now slowly they're
dieing off.. it's so horrible. They're all so young and helpless, and If
their mother doesn't start taking care of them properly, then all her pups
will die. I hope at least half of them make it.. but I'm having my doubts..
::sigh::)
