Hiya Jamie~
Don't worry, 2 weeks is not the time to start looking for a plump gerbil!
As Julian said already, the roundness normally appears from *4-5 days before
delivery*, like Bill correctly said ^.~
Also, it can sometimes depend on how large the litter is. Not always,
but sometimes if the litter isn't that large, the mother wont get that round.
Although I think it was Elizabeth who said in an earlier post that some
gerbils can become a balloon with only 3-4 pups, while others can stay thin.
So don't get worried if she doesn't get huge by the time the birth is about
to occur, it just depends on what kind of gerbil she is ^.^
Good luck with this one and litters to come!
