This list seems to really be coming apart at the seems. I would like to say to Bill that while I hope he doesn't leave, if he does decide to, I will understand and hope that he finds happy gerbiling elsewhere. I find it depressing that so many very helpful people have left the list because they just couldn't take it anymore. I also think that what some people think of others should not cause them to leave the list. I have decided that the only way to have everyone like you on this list is to not say anything at all. I have done this, actually, and not said anything during several of our little issues, even though I had my own views. And the thing is, not everybody is going to agree with everyone on some issues. That is just how it is. What saddens me is that people are actually *forcing* other people to leave the list because of disagreements that they happen to have. This list is about gerbils (as I'm sure we are all aware) yet there will soon be no need for this list as everyone will have left! While I'm not planning on going anywhere (for the present), many great people have left all due to our bickering. I know there doesn't really seem to be a very good way out of this mess, but I'm sure that there is a way, and I'd hate for the whole list to leave before we actually find it. Jackie
