RE: infertile females when housed with more than one male:
Human menstrual cycle has been documented as synchronizing when two or more
women live together or work closely together--a phenomenon observed every
fall in college dorms and sorority houses! How we survive that fall
semester is beyond me. The synchronization is olfactory in origin (linked
to the sense of smell).
Perhaps something similar is occurring with the females who are "smelling
too much testosterone in the air....?" ;-) Just a thought......
