This may get me some nasty responses but I'm going
to say it anyway. I was quite pleased to see that the troll's "friend" had
left the list and upset to see that she had returned. I realize that we as
a group (and I am guilty of this too) fan the flames by not ignoring these
people, but IMHO if there weren't people causing trouble in the first place, we
wouldn't have these commotions which end in good people leaving.

Subject: Everyone, Please Read This
I feel that it is now time for me to say something. I
have beent trying my hardest to not write as much because of the fact people
are saying they are also getting way to much mail. But here is what I'd like
to say. First of all, we have people leaving for these reasons, one is
in some of your peoples words a troll, she get off the list because of the
fact that many people on this list don't like her, possibly hate her, then her
friend is trying to defend her and writes something to Bill that obviously
offends him which causes him to leave the list. Then the "trolls" friend
feels bad and gets off the list. If this keeps happening, there will be
no list left. Nobody to turn to when there is a gerbil problem, or even
if you gerbil does something funny. Like many other people, this list in
like family to me. They help me with my real family's problems,
they help me with my gerbil-kids problems. They laugh when I laugh, the
cry or mourn when I mourn or cry. I have made real good friends with
plenty of people on this list. I guess what I am trying to say is, if
you don't like something, either delete it, block the person who sent it, or
just let it go. I have been trying to just let it go. It really
gets me mad, because I really liked Bill, and the other people that
left. Bill even was so generous, that he even gave me his phone number
so I could call him and talk to him when I needed help. I am positive
some people are going to disagree with part or this whole letter. But i
know other people will love it that another person is taking her time to write
this and to try and save the Great GML. I would really like comments, or
feedback for this letter. I love you all, God Bless.
