I personally would not use the dirt since they are not use to it naturally.
Some potting soil mixtures contain bits of white styrafoam and that is very
harmful to the animal and could cause it's death.  Anything you do for these
animals that is not related to their natural habitat only causes them undue
stress from having to adapt to what situation their in that isn't normal for
