I guess it's time for an update on all the gerbils. ..
Femme (ivory cream) may be pregnant! Finally a pregnant gerbil..
Midnight (black pied) was trying to mate with her at the
breeder's (Evon Barnett) house, but she was never able to see if
they did mate or not. She says she thinks they did, as Fem is
eating/sleeping a lot.
I switched all of the gerbils from carefresh to aspen. They all
seem to like it.. I'm in a small dillema, because John is
allergic to carefresh and fine with aspen but Marsha seems to
have a small allergic reaction to aspen but is fine with
carefresh.. I'm thinking about doing a mix of like 3 parts aspen
and 1 part carefresh or something. I'll see. I'm picking up my
very first Grey Agouti this weekend, along with a Burmese. The
breeder also had some nutmegs and I think red foxes, so maybe
I'll pick up some more (shh, don't tell mom yet *g*).
I have a feeling Emily and Fox are going to mate soon. They're
both pretty much over the 'okay, you're my sister/brother, so all
I'm going to do is tolerate you' phase, and have been sleeping in
the little wooden house I bought them together a lot. I'm hoping
for some yellow foxes and more apricots, 'cause someone was
asking for them. Anyway, I'm babbling. See you all later :)

Marsha: Ahhh.. the fresh smell of aspen, the birds chirping, the
sun coming up.. Don't you love it, John?
John: Love what?
Marsha: The morning!
John: It's morning?
Marsha: The sun came up an hour ago, dear.
John: Oh yeah. Can I go back to sleep?
Emily and Fox: Shush up there. Trying to sleep.
