In which case it says very little. I was hoping for something more
sophisticated which is why I started the GML Map project.
BTinternet.com and clara.net are in the UK. Karin Van Veen is in the
Netherlands despite having a .com address, AOL is a major UK ISP but
still uses AOL.COM for all of it's users. Hotmail, Angelfire, Yahoo,
excite and any other mail forwarding system can be used by users based
anywhere.
Com, Org, Net addresses are technically international. Only .US
addresses are correctly American. Although all of this is falling down.
For example, any IT company in Europe can now use an Italian (.it)
address.
