Oh yes, I know they like to chew leather. Once when our two gerbils ran
free in our bedroom I had forgotten to close the drawer properly, where I
keep my handbags.
Well, some of the handbags I had to throw away :-( the others I wear with
the marks of their little teeth on it..................
