I've been following the recent discussion of allergies with interest, as my
Ritzy has a nasty red nose, which refuses to heal. I'd like to switch
bedding, but there aren't too many alternatives out there in Oxford, UK. I
used to use peat for my boys, but this has become very hard to find, and I'm
reluctant to use commercial composts, as there are too many undefined
'micro-organisms' and plant feeds added.
Today, while at the pet shop, I noticed some hemp bedding. Anyone had any
experience of this? I haven't come across it before, and I'm reluctant to
experiment on the girls without some learned feedback.
