Should Genista be allowed to spend the night in an undivided tank with Molly?
The girls have been slowly introduced to one another over a period of three
months. They have played out together, shared a divided tank, and recently an
undivided tank for several hours, without incident, They have started mutual
grooming and have shared a house, all without incident.
Problem is, the girls are at my mother's house right now, and the
strangest thing just happened. They had been playing out together, but when
they went back into their tank, Nista tried to jump into Molly's half. Not
aggressively, just trying to get into the same half. I said, that from the
evidence to date, Mother should just leave the divider out and let them be.
She'd like a second opinion. I'm going up to see my girls tomorrow or
Wednesday. Anyone out there with comments?
Thanks, Cal and gerbils
Have to get back to the other three girls now, as they're out in the
bedroom...
