. I believe Whitney was the one who first suggested putting the box on its side, so that pups could crawl in & out. If it was me I would have been referring to the "sky loft" attachment for Habitrails, etc., attached sideways (as mine is now) with horizontal tubing so the babies don't fall but still have more room to run around in and nest. It's amazing how fast they learn to navigate it all, even with closed eyes! BTW, mine are now "experimenting" with the corn flakes in the food mix...
