Hi all,
Gus has been sick. :-( He had a patch of dry skin which he scratched raw
to the point of his testicle hanging out. I took him to the vet last week
Thursday and the vet used surgical glue to close up the hole, and gave me
oral and topical antibiotics for Gus. The sore seems to be healing. :-)
What I am really worried about, though is that he lost a lot of weight. He
is skin and bones. :-( He is the same old Gus, but he needs to gain some
weight back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get him to gain
weight without him becoming fat? I put vitamins in his water to make sure
he is getting enough nutrients, but I have seen any weight gain.
