My agouti and DEH gerbils had babies not too long ago, and now i can tell
what colors they are. I have two agouti, two DEH, and what appears to be a
REH. The mother honey is very light, and one of the honey babies is the same
color as mom, and one is like all the pics of DEHs I've ever seen (you know,
like ORANGE). I was wondering what gene might cause this lightening and if
its not actually called a honey at all.
And also kinda off topic, ive read on the internet somewhere about keeping a
hamster and a gerbil as cagemates. Is this possible? And if so, how would i
go about keeping them together? Thanks to anyone that can help.
