MM All: We removed the divider from the last of the five tanks yesterday. So far so good, all the new pairs are getting along fine. Remember we were worried about Tess and Martin because Tess is such a domininate little ahhhhh gerbil? They sleep together curled up in a furry ball with eight legs, four ears, and two tails. The others at least sleep in somewhat close proximity. I should mention that Cornflower and Cottonblossom jumped the gun on us... Cottonblossom managed to circomvent the wire divider - it must have shifted when we cleaned the cage etc. that day. The pups are now separated - gals in one tank, guys in another. Now if we could just find new homes for them. I hate the idea of taking them to PetCo but I may have to. Our apartment is just too small to keep them all. Before anyone starts in on the future pups of our new breeding pairs, the new colors will be easy to place. It is just the [for this area] common colors that few want.
