Hey everyone, two questions for you. I recently went to the pet store and
found 3 different types of hamster balls. There was the regular ones about
the size of a small basketball, and then there were ones with a stand so you
can put the ball in the cage, and there were also hamster balls about the
size of a large orange or small grape fruit. My question is which one would
be best for my gerbils (I have a wheel in their cage)and do they need to be
hand tame for me to use the ball? I don't think their previous owner handled
them right so I'm still taming them.

My other question has to do with my gerbils sneezing. I used to have them on
a potting soil and peat moss mix. I notice that they were sneezing and that
the dirt mix was making more dust in my room than I wanted. So I switched to
Aspen but my gerbils are still sneezing. The don't have red or bleeding
noses, they just sneeze alot. Could it actually have something to do with my
furnace and the amount of dust in my house? Any help to either of my
questions would be greatly appreciated. (sorry for such a long message)
