Off Topic : MOUSEY PROBLEMS

Hey list, THis is off topic but my sis has a mouse that she luvs so much, she takes it 
everywhere!  It has recently developed a big tumor on its chest.  The vet said he 
wouldn't do anything.  Is there anything I can do?  I want to save her mouse,
