Are you saying females are not likely to accept smaller/younger gerbils
and will be less aggressive with chosen cagemates that are the same
size?.
Behaviorally this makes sense because Dominant females instinctively
kill pups that aren't theirs. (This is why the harem method does not
work long term with gerbils).
