Yes, bread crusts are okay. You probably shoudln't throw the entire crust
in the cage, though....but tiny pieces are tasty treats - trust me :o)
....especailly whole wheat bread....white bread is also okay, but not as
good for the gerbil - it's much more processed than whole wheat.....
"Natural foods" are always good treats for a gerbil, though....and are best
given as "daily treats"....

Hey Everyone!!! This might be a strange question but do gerbils like the
crusts from a piece of bread?? When I make my sandwich for lunch, I cut the
crusts off the piece of white bread that I use for my sandwich and was
wondering if I should give the crusts to Naomi and Gen instead of throwing
them away. Is it safe to give to gerbils??? Thanx
