For all of you who answered my questions on the weird acting pup..thanks :)
But now I have a few more questions about gerbils with seizures. How come he
has never had a seizure until yesterday..can this develop later in life..or
is it normally from the time they're born?

I plan on separating the breeding pair this pup came from after the next
litter is born..since there are no females to put with the mother in the
current litter. Do the other pups that don't have any seizures carry the
possibility of producing pups that will have seizures?

I hate to separate this pair since they're a really good pair..but I guess I
don't have much of a choice. Is there any way of telling which parent could
have passed this on? I'd still like to breed my CP Slate if I could..he's
such a great father. The Argente Cream mother also seems to have such
healthy pups..(well until this popped up). Please let me know :)
