I liked the recycled paper ("Carefresh" brand) and corn cob. I
found when I used corncob bedding, it worked better for the
gerbils to mix in some aspen so that it was easier to dig and
nest in.

Some brands of corn cob bedding are less dusty than others. You
have to experiment with different types if you want to use it.

The Carefresh was good, but expensive.
