I just acquired three new editions to my gerbil family today, there names
are Julianna, Noah and Squirt. Squirt is very tiny for her age - about the
size of a thumb, which is very tiny even for a six week old gerbil. I was
actually given her by my local pet shop, she seems quite well in her self,
she has bright eyes and is eating well enough, but unfortunately she doesn't
seem to be able to use her back legs properly. I am hoping that with time
her back legs muscles will improve and she will be able to walk with ease.
For the moment however, I am giving her extra vitamins in the form of
Complan - which has always worked well for my mice in the past - in hope
that this will help build her up. If you have any further suggestions I
would love to hear them.
