I have a trio of girls that have been together since July with no apparent
difficulties. They live in a 10 gallon tank. However, I understand I'm
probably the exception rather than the rule. I think they work because one
is about 3 weeks older than the other 2, and one of the younger ones is a
runt, about half the size of her sisters, though very active and healthy
looking. Female pairs are safer.
