This is a good thing for everybody to have on hand...for every animal they
own, too....especially if you happen to live in a fire-hazard area....it's
just one of those li'l saftey precautions that are totally unnecessary for
the most part, but on the RARE occasion can be a life-saver.....

I live on a farm in the middle of wheat fields....and every summer we put
together boxes (or clean out empty cages) with fresh food/water, etc. JUST
IN CASE we had to get out of the house quickly...

The Emergency Kit doesn't necessarily have to be bought, either....it just
has to be a pre-put together travel-type cage that is ready for use in a
couple seconds....and it has to be something that the animal could live in
for several days...just IN CASE....

..something to think about anyway.....

I received one of the free safety kits (I have cats), and also a free
sample of Purina One for cats. I use the cat food to add to pregnant
and nursing gerbils' food. They seem to like it. (The cats do to, but
they're on a hairball control formula food.)
