Hello everyone,
The gerbil picnic is a great idea and I am looking forward to attending the
get-together in Milwaukee. Most of us will be driving a pretty good distance
to get there. I myself will be driving 4 hours to get there. I live in the
upper peninsula of Michigan.
I'm glad to see alot of interest in this get together. I understand those
attending will be making sacrifices in order to be there. Some of us will
drive distances farther away than me, plus we will have the expense of hotel
accommodations.
I would really like to see the people from Illinois attend this great
get-together in Milwaukee. I do understand that means having a parent drive
if that parent is willing to do that, also the driving time may exceed 5
hours
. I am concerned that if a get-together in Illinois takes place about the
same time, it may affect the attendance of the Milwaukee get-together which
means we will not be able to meet as many GML members in person.
I'm not against an Illinois meeting, I would just like to see as many people
as possible in Milwaukee.
