Hi, I have two pairs of gerbils(two breeding pairs) and they both have
babies. One pair has four babies and the other has 1.Since both of the
females are pregnant again I want to separate them from the father so there
is no more breeding. What I want to know is if it ok to seperate the two
mothers from the father and introduce the mothers to each other including
introducing both of the mothers babies to each other and I wanted to know if
the opposite mother of a baby would hurt the real mothers babys or just let
them be. What I want to do with the fathers is introduce them to each other.
Both of the mothers babies are 4 weeks old so soon when they are weaned I am
goin to keep the females in one tank and the males in the other.
