Yeah, I have three breeding pairs and all three of them have a different way
of making nests (even though they are all related).  One of my pairs makes a
very tall one, my next pair makes a flat one, and my last pair I had to start
giving them a lot of bedding because if I didn't they'd dig a hole into their
bedding (witch was about 2 inches) and then sleep on the glass!
