Another thing that is odd with this color is that when they are younger
(in-between 6-10 weeks) they are white. When they are young I can't really
tell witch ones are going to be white and witch ones are going to be
creamish. My Mom thought that their bedding was turning them colors, so what
I did was keep all the whites of my litters (3 whites) and as they got older
one was turning creamish, while the other two just stayed white. So I sold
the pups and did the test again (just to be sure). The next litter came and
this time there were 4 whites, I waited for weeks and weeks until half the
whites turned creamish and the other half stayed white. I heard somewhere
that some kinds of gerbils can turn colors (but I doubt I have any).
