- she she held it in a closed hand. - she had scent of other animal on hand. - she had scent of food on hand. - Gerbil foot/leg bent under accidentally and it hurt. - protecting territory, (Humans are accepted as members of colony and are treated as if another Gerbil, sort of like imprinting) *I believe this has happened before many times to members of list.* My April used to bite, and I think this might have been the reason.
