Just got a frantic call from my daughter. Magic (mom) had escaped her cage leaving 3 three week old pups behind. When my daughter checked the pups, one had his/her tail cut/bitten and hanging by just a string of flesh. She believes Magic is responsible, and when she caught her, got bit (drew blood) twice. She is an ornery thing bits very hard all the time. What can I do? And is it safe to keep her with her pups? Can I wean them at this time, and what should I do for the injured pup?
