two questions

hello list members ,

I am new to this list and I have two questions - (kind of newbie questions)

I have two male gerbils that lives in a cage

and I want to bring a female in , I was wondering if the males will fight over the female

and if so , what can I do ?

the second question - as I said I have a cage now ,but it is small , I want to use a large fish tank

fish tanks don't come with tops (fish usually don't jump out but gerbils does ..)

any one have idea how to prevent the gerbils to get out ?
